Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve brings aerial combat back to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. Bandai Namco announced early access for September 29, followed by the worldwide release on October 2, 2026.

Bandai Namco confirms cross-play and an Air Base lobby for up to 100 players. That lobby capacity does not mean 100 pilots participate in every combat mission.

Online play has separate progression and rewards. A paid Premium Ace Pass is offered, while the Deluxe Edition includes a voucher for one season’s Premium Ace Pass Plus.
