Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV Part 1 – New Cars and SUGO Circuit

Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV Part 1 adds six cars, the SUGO circuit and new ways to explore a collection. The free update is version 1.72, released on October 15, 2026, with availability beginning late October 14 in Pacific time.

Updated October 24, 2026.

All six new cars

The additions cover everyday classics, a family minivan, racing machinery and an electric concept:

  • Citroën 2 CV 6 Charleston '86
  • Ferrari F355 Berlinetta '94
  • Honda Civic Si Group A version '87
  • Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line '23
  • MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 EVO '26
  • Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo

The update is free, but acquiring vehicles requires in-game credits, earned through progression or purchased. Adding a car to the lineup does not automatically put it in your garage.

SUGO arrives in GT7

SUGO International Racing Course brings a 3,586-metre Japanese circuit with 13 corners and substantial elevation changes. Its final bend climbs toward the main straight, making it an interesting new place to learn braking points and corner exits.

Vintage and Car Concierge

Brand Central's Vintage section highlights cars from 2000 or earlier. Players who have reached the ending can use Car Concierge to request a model, colour and condition, with up to four simultaneous orders depending on Collector Level.

Experience mode and Car Viewer

Experience introduces brand-focused driving challenges, initially for Xiaomi, Yangwang, Hyundai and Polestar. Car Viewer adds flexible camera views, backgrounds, wheel positioning and lighting controls in the Garage.

The Collector Level ceiling rises from 70 to 90. Additional Café Extra Menus, World Circuits events and Scapes locations broaden the activities available.

Gran Turismo Limited Edition DualSense

Sony also revealed a controller with racing graphics and a carbon-fibre-style front plate. Pre-orders began October 22, with the global launch starting December 10, 2026.

Announced recommended prices include $84.99 in the US, €84.99 in Europe and £74.99 in the UK. Retail prices and availability vary. The controller is a separate accessory, not required for the update.

Where to start

For a first session, choose one new car and learn SUGO before moving between activities. Collectors may prefer exploring Vintage, while photography fans can try Car Viewer.
